Set one street back from the beach on Side's peninsula, the Lale Park consists of a set of rooms, some of them modelled on traditional local houses with wooden cumbas (bay windows), gathered around a small pool and a lush garden in which is set a bar and a lounging area complete with hammock. It's a very inviting vista as soon as you set foot across the threshold.

The bedrooms are simple if unflashy, with the necessary air-con and small private bathrooms. Balconies are shared which may or may not be desirable depending on who is staying next door. 

Tour groups dine romantically on the lawn in summer as do breakfasters, although there is also a covered area for wet days. Breakfasts offer plenty of choice, including great eggs.
